Pumpkin seed oil, also known as white melon seed oil, pumpkin seed oil. The extraction methods of pumpkin seed oil include solvent extraction, hot pressing, supercritical fluid extraction, and cold pressing. The pumpkin seed oil extracted by solvent extraction method must undergo refining (6 dehydration process) before it can be consumed, and the refining process inevitably destroys the natural components in pumpkin seed oil and reduces the nutrition in pumpkin seed oil.
There are two production methods for pumpkin seed oil: pressing and leaching. The quality of pumpkin seed oil produced by pressing is good, and it is relatively safe with no residual chemical solvents.
