Curcumin powder comes from curcumin mainly from the root tuber of Curcuma aromatica Salisb., the rhizome of Curcuma longa L., the rhizome of Curcuma zedoaria (Berg.) Rosc. and the rhizome of Acorus calamus L. Curcumin is 95% of the standard, yellow to orange powder, slightly bitter, insoluble in water, and soluble in glacial acetic acid and alkali solution. It is often used as health care products, curcumin capsules, natural curcumin in food, and turmeric cream in cosmetics.It is used for feed industry.
