Cylindrin is a double-knotted isowasarine alkaloid isolated and extracted from the head of the plant Cephaloplastae and Dijintolerin. It has anti-tumor, anti-malarial, bacteriostatic and immune function regulation effects. Modern research suggests that it also has the function of stimulating the reticuloendothelial system, activating hematopoietic tissue, and promoting bone marrow tissue proliferation, and is clinically used to prevent and treat leukopenia caused by radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other reasons in tumor patients, and has received certain effects, therefore, celestin is considered to be a low-toxicity and effective leukocyte drug.
