High quality Avobenzone powder

Avobenzone is an UVA filter. It is used in sunscreen lotions and cosmetic formulations. It has maximum absorption at ca 340-350 nm, decreasing under UV irradiation resulting in loss of the UVA protecting effect. Its photostability is very sensitive as it is stable in polar protic solvent and is photolabile in nonpolar solvents.

Avobenzone is an oil soluble ingredient used in sunscreen products to absorb the full spectrum of UVA rays. It is a dibenzoylmethane derivative. Avobenzone exists in the ground state as a mixture of the enol and keto forms, favoring the chelated enol. Its ability to absorb ultraviolet light over a wider range of wavelengths than many organic sunscreen agents has led to its use in many commercial preparations marketed as "broad spectrum" sunscreens. Avobenzone has an absorption maximum of 357.

Avobezone is a synthetic UV-absorbing Chemicalbook receiver. It is a good UV-A (>320nm) type UV absorber, which can block the full range (320~400nm) of UVA and is highly effective Broad-spectrum oil-soluble UVA filter, compounded with other UVB sunscreens, can provide all UVA and UVB protection, used to prevent photo-induced skin cancer.    
Recommended Storage:
Avobezone is recommended to store it in a cool, dry place, sealed from outside air. We ship the product in a double sealed bag which can be resealed. Another container is recommended sealing from outside air.
