Product Description

Mandelic Acid is a colorless chemical, flake or powder solid, light color, slight odor. Soluble in hot water,  and  In the pharmaceutical industry can be used for intermediate methyl benzoylformate, cefamandole, vasodilator Cyclandelate, eyedrops Hydrobenzole, cylert etc, also can be used as a preservative. Used as a chemical reagent for organic synthesis. Used as pesticide raw materials and intermediates, dye intermediates, etc.

Product description:White oblique flaky crystals, discoloration and decomposition when exposed to light. Melting point is 119°C. The relative density is 1.30. It is easily soluble in ether, soluble in ethanol and water. Form R has a melting point of 13Chemicalbook 3°C, [α]-159.73°(ethanol), and gradually racemizes at 160°C. Type S has a melting point of 133.8°C, [α]+156.57° (water).
