Sarafloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibacterial drug for animals. It has good antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria and mycoplasma. The MIC of sarafloxacin against Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Proteus, Shigella and Pasteurella is ≤0.125 microgram/ml, and the MIC of sarafloxacin against pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and hemolytic streptococcus is ≤0.5 microgram/ml. MIC of Mycoplasma ≤2 MCG/ml. The antibacterial activity was 2 ~ 10 times that of norfloxacin.

Application
Broad-spectrum antimicrobial drugs. It is mainly used for infection caused by sensitive bacteria. Such as chicken dysentery, chicken colibacillosis, poultry cholera, chicken infectious rhinitis, streptococcus suis disease. Piglet dysentery, chronic respiratory disease of chicken, mycoplasmosis pneumonia of pig.
