Function:
OLIVEM 1000 can form a liquid crystal structure inside the emulsion. OLIVEM 1000 is oriented in the two-phase decomposition surface. The structure after micellization in water is a typical structure of layered liquid crystals. The double-layer micelles will produce a multi-layer structure. The layered structure swells with water at the interface, forming a thicker layer phase of about 20 nm between the two oil phases. The emulsion can significantly reduce the loss of water through the skin, thereby giving the emulsion long-term and short-term moisturizing functions.
For this reason, the emulsion prepared with OLIVEM 1000 is extremely shiny, delicate and has a unique, soft and refreshing touch even if it contains a large amount of oil.
