Omeprazole is mainly used for duodenal ulcers and Zhuo Ai syndrome, as well as for gastric ulcers and reflux esophagitis; Intravenous injection can be used for the treatment of acute bleeding from peptic ulcers. Combined with amoxicillin and clindamycin or metronidazole and clarithromycin to kill Helicobacter pylori.

Appearance and properties: White or almost white crystalline powder; Odorless; Easy to change color when exposed to light. Slightly soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in insoluble in water.

Function & Application

1. For gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer.Omeprazole is used in combination with antibiotics for the treatment of peptic ulcer associated with Helicobacter pylori (Hp).

2. For reflux esophagitis, gastrinoma (Zoo-Aye syndrome).

3. Intravenous administration of omeprazole can be used for the treatment of acute bleeding in peptic ulcer, such as bleeding from acute gastric mucosal lesions.

Promeprazole, mainly for duodenal ulcers and Zhuo-Aye syndrome, is also used for gastric ulcers and reflux esophagitis;Intravenous injection may be used for the treatment of acute bleeding in peptic ulcer.With amoxicillin and clindamycin or with metronidazole and clarithromycin combined use, to kill helicobacter pylori.
