The extract of Centella asiatica contains various triterpenoids, including α- Aromatic resin alcohol structure. The main ingredients are asiaticoside and hydroxy asiaticoside, with a brownish yellow to white fine powder appearance and a slightly bitter taste. It has excellent effects on treating damp heat jaundice, heatstroke and diarrhea, sand drenching and blood drenching, carbuncle, swelling, ulcers, and falling injuries.

Solubility: insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol.

Character: Appearance is brownish yellow to white fine powder, with a slightly bitter taste.

Centella asiatica has a medicinal history of over 2000 years in China. Many other countries and regions, such as Madagascar, South Africa, India, Southeast Asian countries, and South America, also use Centella asiatica as a brain tonic, diuretic, adjunct to leprosy, ulcers, and medication for skin diseases. Centella asiatica is included in the pharmacopoeia of China, France, Spain, Mexico, India, the Netherlands, Venezuela, and other countries. The Chemicalbook Snow Grass Extract is a whole plant of the Umbelliferae plant Centella asiatica (L.) Urb. The commercial extract is usually standardized to contain 9% snow oxalic acid. Note: Standard extract specifications of Centella asiatica: 29% -30% Centella asiatica acid, 40% Centella asiatica glycoside, 29% -30% Hydroxyacetic acid, and 1% -2% Hydroxyacetoside.
