Xi'an Haoze Hawthorn Extract is derived from the dried and mature fruits of the Rosaceae plant hawthorn, and its main component is hawthorn flavonoids.

Hawthorn is a deciduous tree plant belonging to the Rosaceae family. The bark is rough, grey-brown or dark gray, the branchlets are cylindrical, the branches are pale purple-brown, hairless or nearly hairless, and the fruit is nearly pear-shaped or spherical, dark red. It is a Chinese Unique tree species.

1. Hawthorn extract can enhance myocardial contractility, slow down the heart rhythm, increase cardiac output, thereby achieving the effect of strengthening the heart.
2. Hawthorn extract and its total flavonoids affect coronary blood flow and myocardial oxygen consumption by increasing coronary blood flow and reducing myocardial oxygen consumption and myocardial oxygen utilization.
3. Hawthorn extract can increase myocardial nutritional blood flow, which may be related to expanding the coronary vascular bed and improving coronary circulation.

4. Hawthorn extract can prevent or reduce myocardial ischemia or necrosis caused by isoproterenol, thereby achieving a protective effect on experimental myocardial ischemia.
5. Hawthorn extract has long-lasting antihypertensive effect.
