Aminomethylcyclohexane acid, also known as tranexamic acid, chemical name 4-aminomethylcyclohexane carboxylic acid, and trade name Toxamine. Tranexamic acid is a synthetic amino acid antifibrinolytic drug, which can competitively inhibit the combination of lysine of fibrin and plasmin, thus inhibiting the lysis of fibrin clots and producing hemostasis. It is mainly used clinically for various bleeding caused by fibrinolysis hyperactivity. Tranexamic acid is a synthetic lysine analog that can competitively bind plasmin to the lysine binding site on plasmin, thereby competitively inhibiting the degradation of fibrin, reducing fibrinolytic activity and playing a role in promoting blood coagulation. In theory, the use of tranexamic acid can lead to insufficient fibrinolytic activity, which in turn may increase the risk of postoperative thrombotic events.
Tranexamic Acid (Tranamin acid or transamin, also known as tranexamic acid) is a synthetic amino acid. Other names include hemostasis, hemostasis, and thrombotic acid, etc., which has pharmacological effects of hemostasis and anti-inflammatory. It is used as a coagulant, with injection and oral use. It belongs to a class of fibrinolytic inhibitors, which can reverse block the lysine binding site on the plasminogen molecule, so that plasminogen cannot be converted into plasminase, so as to effectively inhibit fibrinolysis and have hemostatic effect.
