Function:
1. Ivermectin is the derivatives of abamectin. Ivermectin belongs to oral semisynthetic broad-spectrum drug resistant parasites.
2. Ivermectin has effect for most of the various life cycle nematodes.
3. Ivermectin has effect for the microfilaria of onchocerca volvulus,but it does not has effect for the adult onchocerca volvulus.
4. Ivermectin has effect for dung round worms that is only stay in intestinal tract.
5. Ivermectin has selective inhibition.
6. Ivermectin can not go through the blood brain barrier of humanbeings.
Application:
Ivermectin is an anthelmintic agent, which not only has high insect repellent activity against adults and larvae of gastrointestinal nematodes, but also has good effects on nematodes, flukes, and tapeworms, as well as strong egg killing effects.
Sheep: It is highly effective for the adults and larvae of sheep blood spear nematodes, Osterhabditis, Trichostrongylus, Gubai nematodes, Narrownecked nematodes, Inverted mouth nematodes, Charbert nematodes, Esophageal mouth nematodes, Trichocephalus nematodes, and Nethertail nematodes. It has a good expelling effect on the expansion of Monitz tapeworm and Monitz tapeworm. High doses are required for flukes, such as 20mg/kg for 5 days, and the effective rate against Clonorchis lanceolata is 100%; The continuous use of 15mg/kg for 6 days is highly effective against Fasciola hepatica.
Cattle: The insecticidal spectrum for cattle is roughly similar to that of sheep, but higher doses are required for flukes, such as 7.5 to 10mg/kg for 6 days. It has good effects on adult liver flukes and juvenile flukes in cattle.
Horse: It has excellent effects on the adults and larvae of horse roundworms, horse tail nematodes, viviparous Proctor's nematodes, common round nematodes, toothless round nematodes, horse round nematodes, and small round nematodes.
Pig: It has a good insecticidal effect on the adults and larvae of pig roundworm, red pig roundworm, and esophageal nematode. When used continuously at a dose of 3mg/kg for 3 days, it also has a significant killing effect.
Dogs and cats: Taking 25mg/kg orally in dogs has a significant effect on canine hookworms, trichomonas and roundworms. 50mg/kg can be used continuously for 14 days to kill the migratory stage larvae of canine roundworm; Continuous use for 3 days can almost eliminate tapeworms. The treatment dose for cats is 3 days, and it is highly effective against cat roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms. Wild animals: Oral administration of 5mg/kg for 3 to 5 days to deer infected with Ostrichomonas, Guccinia, Trichostrongylus, Trichostrongylus, and Pneumocystis has good effects. In addition, it also has a certain effect on Monitz tapeworm. For various carnivorous raptors severely infected with avian roundworms, sawtooth nematodes, filamentous worms, and flukes, taking 25mg/kg continuously for 3 days is almost effective against all of the aforementioned worms.
