Butterfly pea flowers, also known as Blue Butterfly, English name: butterfly pea, Latin name: Clitoria ternatea, Thai name: "Dok Anchan", mainly distributed in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a typical tropical vine plant, which blooms all year round. There are also a few in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. Its petals can be used for dyeing, consumption, brewing tea, and making natural blue pigments. Rich in vitamins A, C, and E, and rich in anthocyanins.
