Rice bran oil is a kind of rice oil obtained by pressing or leaching rice bran, a by-product obtained during the processing of rice. Rice bran oil is rich in fatty acids, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, and oryzanol, sterols, and vitamin E,The content of unsaturated fatty acids is as high as 80% or more. Rice bran oil is a unique and precious healthy edible oil. It is a good oil for making nutritional oils, blended oils, frying oils, and food ingredients.
The earliest rice bran oil was rarely used for food, but was mostly used for manufacturing industrial raw materials such as feed, soap, hardened oil, glycerol, stearic acid, oleic acid, and paint resin.
With the improvement of extraction technology and health concepts, edible rice bran oil has been introduced in many developed countries.
