Seabuckthorn seed oil is a brownish yellow to brownish red transparent oily liquid obtained from seabuckthorn seeds by Supercritical fluid extraction or subcritical biotechnology low-temperature extraction, which is a highly concentrated substance integrating the effective ingredients of seabuckthorn. It contains over 140 bioactive ingredients, including flavonoids, organic acids, alkaloids, sterols, triterpenes, and various vitamins.

Sea buckthorn oil is derived from plants in a group of species of the genus Hippophae, the most commonly used of which isHippophae rhammoides. As species belonging to this genus accumulate lipids in the mesocarp (the fleshy part of the fruit), oil can be extracted from either the seeds or the pulp of the fruit. The resulting oil is used in cosmetics and skin care products.

Oil content in seeds of sea buckthorn is on average 7-11 % while oil content of the fruit pulp is around 1.5-3 % (per fresh weight).

Packaging: Because of its low water content and easy moisture absorption, this product needs to be vacuumed and sealed, and needs low temperature and low humidity during storage or circulation.

Each 100g of seabuckthorn contains 500mg~400mg of vitamin C, 50mg~400mg of vitamin E 2, 0.05mg~0.3mg of vitamin B1, 0.03, g~0.15, g of vitamin B2, 0.2mg~0.88mg of vitamin B12, 115 of vitamin K compounds, and 20mg~350mg of P vitamins.
