Chromium-enriched yeast uses yeast as a carrier. Through screening, yeast strains with strong chromium tolerance and high chromium-enriching ability are obtained. The yeast cells are cultured in a medium containing trivalent chromium, and the fermentation conditions are optimized. The yeast is Absorb and assimilate inorganic chromium in a high-concentration chromium environment, and convert inorganic chromium into organic chromium-binding protein (GTF), thus obtaining GTF with high activity and high yield.

 

Yeast is the most widely used microorganism by humans. Its protein content is as high as more than 50%. It is also rich in B vitamins and multiple minerals and is known as a source of high-quality nutrition.

 

Chromium-enriched yeast: an inactive, whole-cell dry yeast containing a very high concentration of chromium. It is made by fermenting yeast with a low dose of chromium, then pasteurizing the yeast liquid and drying it.
