Wild Yam extract powder was Dioscorea Oppositae Thunb, a perennial trailing herb in the family Dioscorea. Diosgenin is the main ingredient of dried tubers of Diosgenin, which has the functions of invigorating the spleen, tonifying the lung, strengthening the kidney and benefiting the essence.
Diosgenin is a kind of diosgenin, which is spirostan. It is replaced by hydroxyl at the 3 β position, contains double bonds at the 5-6 position, and has an R-configuration at the 25 position. A natural product found in Dioscorea (Dioscorea opposita), it is used as the starting point for the commercial synthesis of many steroids, pregnenolone and progesterone. It has the function of acting as a cell apoptosis inducer, antiviral agent, anti-tumor agent, and metabolite. It is a type of 3 β- Sterols, a spironone, a hexacyclic triterpenoid compound, and a saponin. It is derived from the hydride of spirostan.
