Wormwood (scientific name: Artemisia argyi H. Lév. & Vaniot): is a Compositae, Artemisia species. Perennial herb or slightly subshrub-like, the plant has a strong aroma. Stems solitary or few, brown or gray-yellow-brown, slightly lignified at the base, a few short branches on the upper part, thick papery leaves, gray-white pubescent above, usually without false stipules or very small at the base False stipules; upper leaves and bracts. Leaves pinnatifid, elliptic inflorescence, corolla tubular or goblet, with glandular points outside, anthers narrowly linear, style nearly as long as corolla or slightly longer than corolla.
