Retinoic acid, with the molecular formula C20H28O2, is an intermediate product of vitamin A metabolism in the body. It mainly affects bone growth and promotes metabolic effects such as epithelial cell proliferation, differentiation, and keratinolysis. It is used to treat acute promyelocytic leukemia, acne vulgaris, psoriasis, ichthyosis, lichen planus, pityriasis rubra, follicular keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma and other diseases.

1.When used together with medicinal soaps, detergents, acne preparations, preparations containing dandruff drugs such as benzoyl peroxide, ranzocin, salicylic acid, sulfur, ethanol based preparations (such as post shaving lotions, astringents, aromatic cosmetics, shaving creams or lotions), strong drying soap, and isotretinoic acid, it can exacerbate skin irritation or drying effects.
2.There are physical incompatibilities when used externally on the same site as benzoyl peroxide. Sharing with photosensitive drugs increases the risk of photosensitivity.
3.Avoid exposure to sunlight or sunglasses in the treatment area.
