Nifedipine, also known as 1, 4-dihydro-2, 6-dimethyl-4 -(2-nitrophenyl)-3, 5-pyridine dicarboxylate, is a dihydropyridine calcium antagonist used for the prevention and treatment of angina pectoris in coronary heart disease, especially variant angina pectoris and angina caused by coronary spasm. Funcation:
