Fenugreek extract is derived from fenugreek seeds, an annual herb of the genus Trigonella of the Fabaceae family. The root system is well developed, the stem is erect, cylindrical, multi-branched, slightly pubescent; the base is connected to the petiole, the apex is acuminate, hairy; the flowers are sessile, the calyx is tube-shaped, the corolla is yellow-white or light yellow, and the base is slightly violet-green; The pods are cylindrical, straight or slightly curved, hairless or slightly pubescent, with a slender beak at the apex and thickened dorsal seam; the seeds are oblong and oval, brown, with an uneven surface; the flowering period is from April to July; the fruiting period is 7 -September.
