Chlorogenic acid (CGA), also known as coffee tannic acid, is a condensed acid formed by eafeic acid and quinic acid, which belongs to the phenylpropanoid group of compounds. cGA is widely found in plants, with a high content in honeysuckle and eucommia, and has a wide range of pharmacological effects.
