Polygonum multiflorum extract comes from the dried root tuber of the Polygonaceae plant Polygonum multiflorum. The root tuber is thick, oblong, and dark brown. The stems are twining, 2-4 meters long, multi-branched, longitudinally ribbed, hairless, slightly rough, and lignified in the lower part.
